Computron Medical completely remanufactures each C-Arm to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer's specifications. Many of the components are new and state-of-the-art.
  • New Image Intensifier (the most important component in terms of image quality and cost)

  • New high resolution Vidicon camera tube - high sensitivity (high sensitivity - gives a better image at a lower dose)

  • Digital system calibrated
  • Video system calibrated
  • X-ray system calibrated
  • New upgraded high voltage cables
  • New upgraded interconnect cable
  • New upgraded interconnect connectors
  • New grid 8:1 (promotes higher quality images)
  • New grid ring
  • Switches and circuit breakers replaced as necessary (helps to prevent intermittent failures)
  • New upgraded higher-load rated wheel bearings
  • New upgraded C-Arm wheels (makes the C-Arm easier to move)
  • New monitor cart wheels (makes the cart easier to move)
  • New upgraded footswitch, cables, and connectors
  • New air filter for monitor cart
  • New hospital grade power cord
  • New hospital grade plugs and connectors

  • New monitor cart control panel

  • Safety bulletins performed (this is absolutely necessary regardless of vendor)
  • Field service bulletins performed (most systems in the field have not had all FSB done)
  • System burned-in for 48 hours prior to delivery (helps to locate problems before the system is shipped)
